When it is year end, with my friends we look back in the year behind us. Our mouths fall and we shout with a surprised face: "Oh My Gosh, so many things happened to us! What a year!" It is amazing while we are walking on the imaginary string of the year from the start to the end, and how we shout out one by one the stories. "And do you remember when we did this?", "Yeah, it was loads of fun! And when we went there?" And we can keep telling out the anecdotes for long minutes, jumping between the months and seasons, being in a nostalgic mood. Just like now I am. So let me jump through 2012 and show you my most memorable travels in 2012!

Beauty and the Beach - my holiday look
After the 'Capture the Colour' photo contest, here is a new one. The 'Beauty and the Beach' challenges bloggers to publish a blog post with photos capturing their best ever holiday hair, nails and make-up. When I first read the call I thought that I would barely have pictures about any of them. Come on, if I go to the beach or climb a mountain, the last thing I care about is whether my nail polish is neat, or if I should put eye lash or not. Surprisingly, I found pictures with which I am confident to take the challenge. Thanks to this contest I realized that I do care about hair, nails and make-up... sometimes :)

New place in town: ’Egykettő’ Wine Bar
Something I like in Budapest, which we agreed in with my friends, is that there
are new places opening every week. There is always an excuse to go out for a
drink or to party, if it serves a good case: to try these pubs, bars and clubs
out, and pass first-hand info about the new place. We are spoiled in Budapest because we have nothing
else to do just enjoy these new bars, which are competing for us, the audience.
Big ’Fröccs’-dictionary: A new alcohol-language
I am not a big drinker, but when we are
sitting outside during the hot summer nights and already sweating when not even
moving, then it is time for ’fröccs’.
Soon starts the Sziget Festival, winner of the "Best European Major Festival", so it is time to learn the fröccs-language and start practicing it.
